How to Use Panopto in Canvas

Why should I use Panopto for Video Recording, Editing, and Storage? Panopto is a video platform in Canvas you can use to record video presentations, upload existing video files from your computer, and store all video content for your course in one place. If you record videos to provide required or supplemental course content, you can also add quiz questions to your Panopto videos to create low-stakes knowledge checks that help keep your students engaged. Panopto also offers automated captioning features that allow you to quickly add closed captions to your videos. Using Panopto to record and store your videos and then embedding those videos on a Canvas Page ensures that your students have easy access to your video content.
