Canvas

Canvas is the learning management system used by the University of Oregon as an online platform for teaching and learning. Canvas enables faculty to create and deliver rich course content, facilitate online discussions, assess student work, track student performance, and provide feedback to guide student learning. Whether you need basic instructions for using Canvas, guidance for advanced features, or ideas for addressing thorny teaching challenges through this medium, we’re ready to help.

Panopto

Panopto is a media streaming service that is integrated with Canvas. It facilitates audio and video recording and streaming. The Panopto Online Viewer offers closed captioning, embedded quizzing, discussions, note taking and downloadable slide decks, contributing to a rich student experience. We’re eager to support you—whether you’re new to Panopto or ready to take your videos to the next level.
