GE Day of Teaching Resources

Below you can find resources shared during the various sessions at the annual GE Day of Teaching, which takes place on the Wednesday prior to the start of fall term. We also encourage all graduate student instructors to visit our Graduate Employee Teaching Support page and Term Course Resources page (updated for each fall, winter, and spring).

Asynchronous Canvas Modules (New!)

We now have asynchronous modules with the content from most of our live GE Day of Teaching workshops. While these do not replace the learning experience of attending GE Day of Teaching, we hope they will provide useful, supportive information you can reference and return to.

The modules are organized by GE role. Each module contains content from multiple sessions, however (for example, all three of these modules will contain information on Grading). They are hosted on UO's Community Canvas (a version of Canvas that can be used by campus organizations, departments, clubs, etc. instead of just classes), so you will be asked to log in with your Duck ID to access them.
