What is iClicker Cloud?

iClicker Cloud is an innovative tool and tailored for a dynamic educational environment. By leveraging smart devices (phones) and iClicker remotes, instructors can engage students through interactive polls, quizzes, and attendance checks.

This technology transforms traditional lectures into interactive sessions fostering active participation. iClicker Cloud empowers instructors with real-time insights into student comprehension, enabling immediate adjustments to teaching strategies to address misconceptions and reinforce understanding. This tool can support active learning methodologies, peer instruction, flipped classroom models, and offer students a continuous, accessible study resource.

Please note: instructors at UO still have the option of using an iClicker base station with iClicker Cloud. Instructors may choose to use a base station if they wish to allow students to use an iClicker remote instead of a mobile device.
