November 25, 2024 - The last full newsletter of the term wishes everyone a restful break and reminds faculty about academic policies to uphold as well as Student Experience Surveys, UO Leadership Academy, New Quizzes on Canvas, UO Online Support Services, research awards, research seed funding, events, more.
As we near the end of the term, faculty members may experience technological issues. Please consider using UO Online’s service center or portal to solve or avoid issues in Canvas. You can reach us by phone, email, live chat, or in-person in PLC rm. 68 from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. or at 541-346-1942.
The fall Student Experience Survey will be open from Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 8 a.m. until 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 9. Instructors who encourage student feedback, offer class time to submit the survey, or add custom questions are likely to get a wider range of helpful feedback.
As faculty, you are leading every day – on committees, in the classroom, with your graduate students, with your research teams, co-authors and collaborators, and so on. Consider applying for the 2025-26 cohort of UO Leadership Academy to continue developing your capacity to lead from where you are.
