NEWS AND RESOURCES
  • Preparing for spring? Save time by visiting Spring 2025 Course Resources, with timely considerations, a syllabus starter, Canvas course templates, and adaptable modules for absence reporting, academic integrity, and more, courtesy of TEP and UO Online.

  • This spring, participate in Duck In, a week of class visits that highlight practices promoting student success and flourishing. Sign up now to have a one-time visitor see what you do to help your students flourish, on a day of your choice between May 12 and 15.

  • Placards with QR codes are being installed in classrooms for spring term to allow for quick reporting of problems such as broken or missing furniture and heating and cooling issues. This is a collaboration between the Office of the Provost and the Location Innovation Lab, with input from the Committee on Academic Infrastructure. The lab will gather feedback at the end of term to make improvements and consider improvements beyond classrooms.

  • The Center on Diversity and Community will offer weekly 3-hour writing circles spring term to help you protect time for the writing and research projects that are important to you. All faculty, OAs, and postdocs are welcome to sign up.

  • University-wide instructional policies now are featured on a student-facing webpage that will be linked from every Canvas course site. Faculty should provide a link to that page on their syllabi, not reproduce these statements.
