(Cancelled) Designing for Accessibility: Coffee & Co-working (Jan 16)
This informal, supportive co-working session is for instructors and staff looking to expand accessibility in their courses and/or other work contexts!
- When: 12-1pm on the third Tuesday of each month
- Where: over Zoom or in person in Straub Hall, room 401
- Why: You might choose to join us if you want a space to co-think with others; build accessibility-related community; use the accountability of a co-working hour; get linked to resources
- What: The focus of each session will come from accessibility-related issues and contexts you bring and want to work through or share with others. For example, you might use the time to work on or discuss file accessibility; revise part of an assignment, course policy, or class activity using Universal Design for Learning; find resources for for specific accessibility-related challenges (i.e. how do I make my art course more assessible for blind and visually impaired students?); share work you're doing that you're excited about.
- How: register for any number of meetings in MyTrack by using the button below. If joining us in person, free to bring any food/drink you want (coffee and tea provided).
