2. Avoid clutter by hiding the menu items that students will not use. This can include menu items like Files, which can remain accessible to course builders or graduate employees even while hidden from students.

1. From the Dashboard, select the course to modify.
2. Once inside the course, click Settings at the bottom of the course navigation menu.
3. Click the Navigation tab.
4. Drag and drop course menus items to reorder how they appear. Menu items can be hidden by dragging them below the section titled “Drag items here to hide them from students.”
5. When course menu items have been reordered, click Save at the bottom of the page.
