Hiding or removing course menu items from students in the Course Navigation Bar can help streamline your course and keep students focused on specific content in your course that is linked through a Page or Module. Hiding the Files menu can also allow for Course Builders or Graduate Employees to access files that you want available to them but not to students.
First, select the course you wish to work in from the Dashboard.
Once inside the course, select the Settings menu within the Course Navigation Bar.
At the top of the page, select the tab labeled Navigation.
From this page, you can “drag and drop” course menus to reorder how they appear in your course.
Menus can also be hidden by dragging them below the section titled “Drag items here to hide them from students.”
Once course menus have been reordered, select Save at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
