Reflect on RSI in Your Course
Regular and substantive interaction is most useful when you can connect it to what actually happens in your course. The RSI Course Self-Check is a short reflection activity designed to help you consider how regular, instructor-initiated, and content-focused interaction currently shows up in your teaching. This is a reflective planning tool, not a formal course review or compliance determination.
As you work through the self-check, you’ll:
- Recognize RSI practices already built into your course.
- Identify areas you may want to strengthen.
- Consider practical next steps for supporting regular and substantive interaction.
The self-check includes 15 questions and takes approximately 5–10 minutes. Your responses are anonymous and are not stored. This is a reflective planning tool, not a formal course review or compliance determination.
If possible, have your syllabus, course schedule, or Canvas course nearby so you can think about your current practices as you respond.
