Notifications have been added to the course level. Everyone can set their notifications for important announcements and events course by course.

Course Notifications

Notifications have been added to the course level. Everyone can set their notifications course by course now rather than globally. Please note that what you set for the course level notification will override your global notification settings.

To set your course notifications go to the course Home page and look for the link to View Course Notifications.

Note that course setting notifications will override the account level or global settings. Please note the icons are different for course notifications.
