Student Accommodations & Your Classes: Drop-In Q & A

A significant number of faculty have shared that students' AEC accommodation requests in their courses have increased; recent surveys such as the Healthy Minds survey at UO also indicate an increase in the number of students speaking with instructors about disability-related barriers to their learning. We heard real confusion and real challenges: instructors are grappling with questions about their responsibilities when it comes to accommodations as well as how to design for some of the increased accommodations students need. 

As the term starts, join an advisor from the Accessible Education Center and one of TEP’s Faculty Consultants to pose any questions related to accommodation, to have co-thinkers on sticky challenges, or to share what your experiences have been and what resources you might need.
