Making the Most of Unit Policy Updates Related to Teaching

TEP and the Office of the Provost invite unit heads and their designees to join us for a discussion about the unit policy update process as an opportunity to incorporate your unit’s teaching aspirations and values into the fiber of faculty review. We’ll look at specific examples of how to modify the Provost’s policy templates based on units’ interpretation of and additions to university-wide professional, inclusive, engaged, and research informed teaching standards. We’ll also discuss how to have a values-based conversation about teaching in your unit that translates into your policy modifications.
