Classroom Technology Tutorial (large rooms)
The classroom tech support team in Information Services will hold three trainings for interested UO faculty and staff members; each training will take place is a classroom of a different size, so attendees can select the size that best reflects their own classroom context.
All trainings will run from 2 to 4 p.m., but attendees do not need to commit to staying for any specific amount of time--only for what is useful. The first 30 minutes will feature an in-depth demonstration of the room's audiovisual equipment. The rest will be drop-in time, when people can bring their own equipment and meet with a classroom technician one-on-one.
- Sept. 20: Medium room, Lokey Education 117.
- Sept. 21: Small room, Friendly 106.
- Sept. 22: Large room, PLC 180.
The trainings are open to anyone who teaches or supports teaching in classrooms scheduled by the Office of the Registrar, also known as general pool and joint-controlled classrooms.
Faculty and staff members, graduate employees and student employees are welcome. No registration is required.
Trainings will cover AV equipment specific to each size of room, ranging from Crestron control systems to microphones, assistive listening devices and document cameras.
